Weekly Picks... 12/1-12/7

I'm writing to you from OK City. I'm here working for the week, so I'll miss out on my weekly picks, but I hope you can enjoy them for me.  Enjoy!!

PICK NUMBER ONE:
The Bozarts Gallery Third Annual Miniature show kicks off the holiday season on 
Friday, December 3rd for holiday browsing and shopping from 6- 9PM. 
*The gallery will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays Noon-5pm until Christmas. 
This is a great way to support local art and do some Christmas shopping all in one. 
I can't tell you enough how much I love this gallery. I feel like they have really created a great space for artists and are here to stay. 


PICK NUMBER TWO:
**I went to this last year and had such a great time. I'm sorry I will be missing this years event. 
The Yoknapatawpha Arts Council will host the annual Holiday Ornament Auction featuring creations by local artists.
Thursday, December 2 · 6:00pm - 9:00pm at The Powerhouse, located on University Ave. 
The Annual event raises funds to support the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council, the official arts agency for the City of Oxford and Lafayette County Mississippi. The Arts Council supports over 315 days of arts programs ranging from art exhibits, workshops, live theatre, concerts, literary events
and festivals.
The event is free to members of the arts council - and membership is open to anyone who makes a donation of $35 or more.

This event has the generous support of local restaurateurs including:
